These architectural tile designs are created using brightly coloured Italian porcelain tiles. The tiles are fully vitrified so are impervious to frost and ice damage and have a softly textured surface making them slip resistant even when wet. A lot of them have been commissioned for the entrances to people's houses, but they have also been used to create focal points in gardens, window lintels and fireplaces.
